Frequently asked questions
-
All General Admission tickets come with free primitive tent camping inside the venue. Single-day ticket holders are asked to leave by 9am the next morning (AKA a Friday ticket holder who camps on Friday night must leave by 9am Saturday).
GA Weekend Tickets allow patrons to enter the festival starting at 9am Friday and stay until 9am Sunday morning.
THR+GA Weekend Tickets allow patrons to enter the festival starting at noon Thursday and and stay until 9am Sunday morning.
Admission tickets do NOT come with on-site parking, or on-site RV camping, or tow-behind-camper camping. You must buy a separate Near Car Camping or Parking pass if you want to park on-site at the venue, or to camp beside your car at the venue, or to sleep in an RV at the venue, or to sleep in a tow-behind-camper at the venue.
-
Every VIP ticket holder will receive certain VIP-only goodies plus access to exclusive VIP-ony events and areas. Read more in the ticket description below.
VIP Weekend Tickets allow patrons to enter the festival starting at 9am Friday and stay until 9am Sunday morning.
THR+VIP Weekend Tickets allow patrons to enter the festival starting at noon Thursday and and stay until 9am Sunday morning.
You must buy a separate Near Car Camping & Parking pass if you want to park on-site at the venue, or camp beside your car at the venue, or sleep in an RV at the venue, or sleep in a tow-behind-camper at the venue.
-
Patrons who want to enter the festival on Thursday must purchase either a THR+VIP Weekend ticket, or a THR+GA Weekend Ticket. Gates will open at noon on Thursday to these patrons.
Keep in mind that admission tickets do NOT come with on-site parking, or on-site RV camping, or tow-behind-camper camping. You must buy a separate Camping & Parking pass if you want to park on-site at the venue, or camp beside your car at the venue, or sleep in an RV at the venue, or sleep in a tow-behind-camper at the venue.
-
If you want to be able to camp close to your car (within 100 feet of your personal vehicle), you need to purchase one of our Near Car Camping Pass options (Premium or GA), in addition to an Admission Ticket (GA or VIP) to the festival.
Near Car Camping Passes are good for all of the days covered by your admission ticket. This pass allows you camp close to your vehicle (car/truck/van). Vehicle must fit in a regular grocery store parking space. Anything bigger would require an RV pass.
You only need one Near Car Camping Pass per vehicle. (You do NOT need a Near Car Camping Pass per patron, only per vehicle).
Near Car Camping passes (primitive and GA) allow room for one vehicle, plus one camping tent and room for one EZup if you choose to bring it (or chairs/ cooler). In Premium this is strictly enforced. In GA Near Car Camping, there is often room for more sprawl behind the GA Near Car Camping area because it backs up to the primitive GA Camping area, so folks can usually fit additional tents BEHIND the GA Near Car Camping area.
These sites do not have hookups. All sites are dry and without electricity.
Please note: These passes do not include admission to the fest, which must be purchased separately. Both VIP and GA ticket holders can access Premium and GA Near Car Camping areas.
No refunds.
-
Campsites are awarded first come, first served. The easiest way to camp beside a friend coming in a separate vehicle is to arrive at the festival entrance at the same time as your friend.
To do this, arrange to meet your friend elsewhere (like a nearby grocery store parking lot, or the Family Dollar in Axton, VA that has a big parking lot, etc.) and then caravan together to Pop’s Farm, so that you arrive simultaneously at the festival entrance.
-
Our very best camping locations within the venue are called our “Premium” spots. We have a Premium RV Lot and we have a Premium Car Camping Lot.
You do not need a VIP ticket to camp in a Premium Lot. GA ticket holders are encouraged to buy a Premium Camping Pass if they want to camp in the very best locations at Pop’s Farm.
-
Weather permitting, fires are allowed in elevated fire bowls. Fires are NOT allowed directly on the ground. Bring your own fire bowl OR gather at our large fire on the GA Camping Ridge.
ICE will be sold at the festival all weekend. You can find bagged ice at the General Store vendor.
-
